Structural Packaging / Cardboard Engineer Location: Dartford Salary: £40K - £50K Benefits Job Type: Full-timeA growing and well-established large format print and display production business is looking to recruit an experienced Structural Packaging / Cardboard Engineer to lead the development of its corrugated display and structural packaging capability.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong structural design and cardboard engineering experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in building and shaping a new department within the business.Working closely with design, sales and production teams, you will be responsible for creating innovative corrugated display structures, retail POS units and structural packaging solutions that can be efficiently manufactured using large format print and digital cutting technology.The RoleDesign and engineer corrugated cardboard displays, retail POS units and structural packagingProduce CAD drawings, cutter guides and structural layouts for productionDevelop innovative concepts that balance strength, efficiency and visual impactCreate samples and prototypes for internal development and client presentationsAdvise on materials, board grades, structural integrity and cost-effective solutionsWork closely with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalableProvide technical support to the sales team during concept development and client discussionsPlay a key role in ..... full job details .....
