      <description>Location: Staffordshire | Salary: &amp;pound;36 - &amp;pound;37/hour | Type: Contract | Contract Mechanical Design Engineer (3 Months)    Rate:  -36 per hour   Location:  UK (site-based / hybrid as required)  We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a 3-month contract role within a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment.   Key Responsibilities:    Design and development of heavy-duty steel products and assemblies  3D modelling and drawing production using SolidWorks  Conducting FEA analysis to validate structural performance  Supporting prototype development and testing  Collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and quality     Requirements:    Proven experience in mechanical design within steel or structural products  Strong SolidWorks capability  Experience with FEA/structural analysis  Background in structural or civil engineering principles highly desirable  Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines    This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor looking to work on robust, engineering-focused projects in a fast-paced environment.&lt;/p</description>
