This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator who enjoys hands-on work, with a strong emphasis on fabrication rather than just welding. The successful candidate will be confident reading engineering drawings, carrying out structural fabrication work and MIG/MAG welding, with the opportunity to complete in-house welding codings. The Role Carrying out structural steel fabrication from engineering drawings. MIG/MAG welding on a variety of structural steel components. Measuring, marking out, cutting, drilling and preparing materials. Assembling and fitting steelwork accurately to specification. Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely. Ensuring all work meets the required quality and safety standards. Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines. Completing in-house welding codings as required.
