Salary: Up to -50,000, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with 3-4 years'' experience, or more, to join a well-established and forward-thinking structural design consultancy based in High Wycombe.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse range of structural engineering projects, working closely with clients, architects and other design professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking structural analysis and design across a range of projects
• Producing structural calculations, reports and technical documentation
• Designing structures in a variety of materials
• Developing structural schemes from concept through to detailed design
• Producing and reviewing technical drawings
• Working closely with architects, contractors and other consultants
• Attending site visits and providing technical input where required
• Taking responsibility for your own project workload and contributing to wider team objectives

About You

The ideal Structural Engineer will have around 3-4 years'' relevant consultancy experience, although candidates with greater experience are also encouraged to apply.

You should have:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Relevant experience within a structural design consultancy
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles
• Experience designing a variety of building structures
• Good structural analysis and calculation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a team
