Structural Engineer - NorfolkLocation: Wymondham, Norfolk Experience: 3-5 yearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and practical Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join an established consultancy based near Wymondham, Norfolk.This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded engineer looking to develop their technical skills, broaden their design experience and build on their existing knowledge within a supportive team. We are particularly keen to find someone with a varied design background who can be developed further in portal frame design, while maintaining a broad range of structural engineering capabilities.Key Responsibilities and ExperienceThe ideal Structural Engineer will have experience across a range of structural design disciplines, including:Steel Frame Design: Experience with steel-framed buildings, with the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge of portal frame design.Steel Connection Design: A sound understanding of steelwork connections and their design requirements.Concrete Design: Experience designing concrete elements, including slabs, reinforced concrete (RC) walls and bunds.Residential Design: Experience working on residential projects and a good understanding of their structural requirements.Site Experience: Previous site experience is desirable, alongside a willingness to learn about concrete and steel inspection methods.CAD and Drawings: Good CAD skills, with the ability to produce coordinated drawings from basic ..... full job details .....
