Structural Engineer | Manchester

One of our trusted clients is continuing to grow into 2026, and we’re looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Manchester team. You’ll work on a wide range of structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. This role offers real responsibility, technical variety, and the chance to contribute to innovative designs that shape the built environment across the North West.

• Produce structural designs in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports

• Use industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, Robot, Revit)

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines

• Attend site visits, inspections, and client meetings

• Support junior engineers and technicians, contributing to a strong team culture

• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practice

We’re looking for someone technically strong, proactive, and confident working across a variety of structural challenges. Ideally, you will have:

• A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• Chartered or working toward chartership with IStructE or ICE

• Experience delivering structural designs across multiple materials

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with structural design software

• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
