This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and technically strong engineer looking to take the lead on a variety of challenging projects across multiple sectors, while playing a key role in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continued success of the business.Shift: 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, Flexible working hoursSalary and Benefits:A salary up to 55,000Employee profit share schemeOpportunity to work on a diverse range of award-winning projectsFriendly and collaborative working environmentConvenient Cardiff city-centre locationRoles and Responsibilities:Act as the technical lead on projects of varying size and complexityPrepare structural design calculations, drawings, specifications and reportsCoordinate designs with technicians and multidisciplinary engineering teamsAttend client meetings and undertake structural surveysCollaborate with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders throughout project deliveryReview and check engineering designs, calculations and drawingsSupervise and mentor Graduate Engineers within the teamAssist with commercial and project management activitiesEnsure compliance with current design standards and regulationsKnowledge, Skills and Experience:Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringChartered Engineer status ..... full job details .....
