Structural Engineer | Residential | Birmingham | Join a growing design practice and help shape its structural engineering team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a collaborative and growing architectural and design practice based in Birmingham.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in establishing and developing the structural engineering function within a collaborative team. You''ll work closely with designers, clients and contractors from the conceptual design stage, helping to create practical, cost-effective structural solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.The workload is predominantly residential, including bespoke homes, extensions and new builds, alongside a range of commercial projects. It''s a varied, hands-on role with regular site visits, meaning no two days are the same.The Role Produce structural calculations, reports and technical designs.Support projects from concept through to completion.Work closely with designers, clients and contractors to develop practical structural solutions.Carry out site visits and provide technical guidance throughout the build process.Ensure designs comply with current regulations and industry standards.Contribute to the growth and development of the structural engineering capability within the business.
