Structural EngineerGlasgow First People Solutions is currently working with a multidisciplinary consulting engineer that is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Structural Engineer. This is a great opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of major infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on power and energy, including substations, grid infrastructure and renewable energy projects. There''s also the opportunity to work across sectors including industrial, defence and transportation. The RoleYou''ll be involved in the design and delivery of structural elements across a range of technically challenging projects, working closely with other disciplines to develop safe, efficient and sustainable solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and specifying structural elements across a variety of projectsProducing structural drawings, specifications, calculations and technical reportsWorking closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the design processReviewing calculations, technical drawings and supplier submissionsEnsuring designs meet relevant industry standards, quality requirements and project specificationsProviding guidance and support to more junior engineers and contributing to the wider technical development of the team What Are They Looking For?A degree in Structural Engineering, or equivalent3+ years of structural engineering and design experience within a UK design engineering environmentExperience with structural analysis ..... full job details .....
