Structural Engineer

EMT Talent is working with an established engineering company in Sheffield to appoint a Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

We are looking to speak with Structural Engineers who have experience in structural design and delivery across building structures projects.

The Role:

You will be involved in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion, working within a collaborative team environment and supporting senior engineers while helping develop junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of steel, reinforced concrete, portal frame and traditional structures
• Structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software
• Production and checking of engineering drawings and details
• Preparation of technical reports and design documentation
• Project delivery from concept through to completion
• Supporting junior engineers
• Coordination with other disciplines
• Client and design team meetings
• Ensuring practical, efficient and buildable designs

About You:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng)
• Experience in a structural engineering consultancy
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
• Experience with structural design software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Chartership progression or ambition to achieve it
