Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Design Manager to join their team.The business delivers a range of commercial refurbishment, CAT A/B, fit-out and cut and carve projects, often involving complex alterations to existing structures and technically challenging schemes.This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer or Design Manager looking to take greater ownership of the design process and work closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients from pre-construction through to delivery.The RoleAs Structural Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the structural design process across live projects, ensuring designs are coordinated, buildable and delivered in line with programme, quality and commercial requirements.Your responsibilities will include:Managing structural design packages from concept through to constructionCoordinating structural engineers, consultants and specialist subcontractorsReviewing structural calculations, drawings and technical informationManaging design interfaces between structural, architectural and MEP packagesWorking closely with the construction team to ensure designs are practical and buildableCoordinating structural alterations to existing buildings ..... full job details .....
