Our client is looking to appoint a talented Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to work on a broad range of residential, commercial and industrial developments while progressing their career within a supportive and technically driven consultancy. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Chartered Engineers, contributing to projects from initial concept through to construction. The role offers exposure to all aspects of structural design, providing the opportunity to build valuable experience while working towards professional chartership. Responsibilities will include producing structural calculations and assisting with the design of beams, columns, foundations, slabs and other structural elements using recognised engineering software and current design standards. The engineer will help develop practical, efficient and economical solutions, prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications, and support senior colleagues throughout the design process. The position also involves carrying out site inspections and structural assessments of existing buildings, identifying defects where necessary and assisting with the preparation of clear technical reports outlining findings and recommended remedial works.
