Structural Engineer

We have a great opportunity for a talented structural engineer within a small firm in Bristol. You will immediately become involved in all aspects of projects, which will include simple beam design (domestic scale projects) to large industrial sheds, residential bocks, refurbs and conversion. The Director retains a hands-on role in each project and is very approachable and willing to share knowledge and assist in your learning curve to a more senior role. That said, they do need you to be competent to be self-reliant. Software is Tekla TSD and Tedds primarily for design, but they can assist in a transition from other similar tools. If you have basic CAD skills that would be an advantage but is not vital. As well as your design experience, you will have good communication skills and a flexible approach, with a focus on successful project delivery.
