The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering practical and efficient structural engineering solutions across a variety of projects.
You will be:
·Producing structural designs from concept through to construction
·Preparing calculations, technical reports and design documentation
·Designing in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber
·Coordinating design information with architects, contractors and project teams
·Providing technical support during construction and responding to design queries
·Undertaking occasional site visits
·Contributing to high technical and quality standards across projects
About You
To be considered for this Structural Engineer role, you should have:
·A degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
·Experience working within a UK engineering consultancy or similar design environment
·Strong structural design and calculation skills
·Excellent attention to detail
·Good communication and collaboration skills
·A proactive approach to problem-solving
·Progress towards ICE or IStructE Chartership would be advantageous but is not essential
