Structural Engineer

We re working with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy looking to recruit a Project Structural Engineer. Applications are also welcome from experienced engineers ready to step up, as well as those already working at Senior Engineer level. You ll join a collaborative team, taking projects from initial concepts through detailed design and construction. With civil, geotechnical and other engineering specialists working alongside you, you ll have access to the expertise needed to develop practical, coordinated solutions. The role You ll take responsibility for structural design and technical delivery across a varied project portfolio, with support appropriate to your experience. Your responsibilities will include: Producing structural calculations, analysis models and specifications for steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures. Developing designs from concept through to construction, working closely with technicians on drawings and detailing. Coordinating with architects, contractors, clients and other engineering disciplines. Attending site visits, inspections and design meetings. Resolving technical queries and developing practical, buildable solutions. Managing your workload to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Considering material efficiency and sustainability throughout the design process. About you A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, such as an MEng, BEng or equivalent.
