Structural Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Structural Engineering consultancy in the South West, which is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and insurance-related work, as well as new-build developments. Key ResponsibilitiesProduce structural calculations, drawings, and technical detailsWork on projects from concept through to completionProjects includeResidential extensions, loft conversions, and refurbishmentsNew build developments (including multi-million-pound schemes)Insurance-related structural works (subsidence, fire, flood damage)Heritage and traditional buildings alongside modern constructionLiaise with architects, contractors, and clientsAttend site visits as requiredRequirement3 4 years post-graduate experience in structural engineeringDegree qualified (recognised by IStructE or ICE)Experience with software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, Robot (or similar)AutoCAD and/or Revit knowledge advantageousGood understanding of UK building regulations and construction methodsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamFull UK driving licence and own transportPackage and BenefitCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Hybrid working (office and home-based)Varied and interesting project workloadSupportive and friendly team environmentGenerous holiday ..... full job details .....
