The role provides expert technical advice, assesses structural proposals, supports enforcement activities, and responds to dangerous structures and emergency situations. Key Responsibilities Review and assess structural designs, calculations, and specifications for compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, and Eurocodes. Undertake site inspections, particularly for complex structural works. Identify structural risks, defects, and non-compliance, recommending corrective actions.
