Structural Design Engineer

Are you a structural design engineer with more than 3 years'' experience?

Do you have experience working on concrete and steel structures?

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
Location: Hatfield, 3 days per week

I am supporting a well-established contractor who is looking to bring in an experienced engineer to join their expanding design team. With new projects recently secured and workload set to increase, this is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping and developing the function.

You’ll be working closely with both design and construction teams, delivering a range of structural design solutions across rail projects including substations, signal structures and associated infrastructure.

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience within civil/structural engineering
• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
• Strong structural engineering background
• Experience working with both concrete and steel structures
• Ability to produce and check engineering calculations

Desirable:

• Rail industry experience
• Experience with MicroStation
• Familiarity with Tekla Tedds
