Strip Fitter

kolt recruitment are looking for a strip fitter for a busy and growing accident repair centre within a well-established dealership in Southampton. this is a great opportunity for an experienced strip fitter to join a professional bodyshop environment, working on a variety of vehicles and supporting the repair process from start to finish.
key responsibilities:

• stripping and refitting damaged vehicle components-
• removing mechanical, electrical and trim parts prior to repair-
• refitting panels and components to manufacturer standards-
• identifying additional damage and reporting findings-
• working closely with panel and paint teams to ensure smooth workflow-
• maintaining a clean and safe working environment-

requirements:

• previous experience as a strip fitter / dismantler within a bodyshop-
• strong knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes-
• ability to work efficiently to deadlines without compromising quality-
• good attention to detail and problem-solving skills-
• full uk driving licence preferred-
