Job Title: Stress EngineerLocation: Huddersfield - 4 days/week on-site, Friday at homeRole Type: Contract - 12 months. 37hrs/week.Rate: 53.33 per hour OUTSIDE IR35 Our client, an established defence engineering firm, require an experienced Stress Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team in Huddersfield working on cutting-edge systems and machinery in the marine industry. Working pattern is on-site Mon - Thurs, with Friday working from home. Alternatively a condensed 4 day working week can be discussed. What the role of the Stress Engineer entails:The ability to plan and execute tasks to achieve timescales and costs in conjunction of designated KPI''sThe ability to own problems and provide pragmatic engineering solutions to challenging timescales and budgetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet customer requirements and project objectives.Generate detailed technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis results and recommendations.Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support the development and improvement.Monitor and track the progress of corrective actions, ensuring timely completion and effectiveness.Conduct thorough Analysis and investigations and maintain accurate documentation of non-conformance reports, investigations, and corrective actions.
