VGC Group is recruiting an experienced Streetworks Operative to join our team on a busy infrastructure project.

Location: Various UK Projects
Pay Rate: £20.36 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 50 hours per week
Contract: PAYE Contract of Employment

The Role:
As a Streetworks Operative, you will play a key role in supporting civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out streetworks and excavation activities in line with project requirements.
- Setting up and maintaining safe work zones, barriers, and traffic management systems.
- Assisting with reinstatement works and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Working closely with site teams to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures on site.

Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card or GQA/Q Card
- Valid EUSR or NRSWA Streetworks Qualification
- Previous experience in a Streetworks Operative role
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

What We Offer
£20.36 per hour PAYE
50 hours per week
