Streetworks Coordinator Location: St Albans Rate: £28 £32 per hour Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract The Opportunity Morson Edge is looking for an experienced Streetworks Coordinator to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure project based in St Albans on a freelance basis. This role offers the opportunity to support major infrastructure works within a structured and collaborative environment, ensuring full compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA). Key Responsibilities Issue and manage Streetworks permits via the Street Manager system through to completion Ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements and minimise risk of legislative breaches Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules of works Coordinate with third parties including parking suspensions, road closures, and bus stop suspensions Administer Section 50 licences Analyse and respond to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and Section 74 charges Produce reports on planned and ongoing works Respond to Highway Authority comments and modification requests Support project planning, programme updates, and progress meetings Manage programme interfaces relating to Streetworks activities Support KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct compliance audits where required Build effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders Requirements Essential Strong organisational ..... full job details .....
