Job Role: Street Scene OperativeLocation: DarlingtonContract Type: Temporary - 2 months (with likely extension)Pay Rate: 12.85 per hour (PAYE)Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (working 07.30 to 15.30 Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 15.00 on a Friday) Key Responsibilities:Emptying litter and dog waste bins across designated routes.Clearing back lanes and public areas of waste, debris and leaves.Providing rapid response to issues such as fly tipping and dog fouling.Operating equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.Supporting general grounds maintenance and street cleansing tasks.Engaging courteously with members of the public when required.Requirements:Ability to carry out manual handling and physical outdoor work.Experience using relevant tools and equipment (training provided if needed).Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.What''s on Offer:Immediate start 12.85 per hour (PAYE)2-month contract with potential for extensionSupportive team environment and meaningful workIf you''re ready to roll up your sleeves and help keep our streets clean and ..... full job details .....
