Position Details:
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: From -13.26
Driving Required: Yes
Working Pattern: Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Empty bins and keep our streets litter-free.
• Walk around the city with a cart, collecting rubbish.
• Drive council vehicles to various locations for waste collection.

Example Daily Route:

• Start your day by driving around the city to collect bags left by handcart operatives.
• Head to Bilston to empty litter bins and litter pick.
• Continue to Wednesfield, then Molineux, ensuring cleanliness up to the subway and along Waterloo Road.

What You''ll Do:

• Perform a variety of environmental maintenance tasks, including litter picking, litter bin emptying, and hard surface cleaning.
• Operate vehicles safely and use a range of tools and equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, including worksheets and timesheets.
• Collaborate with team members and promote a positive image of our service.
• Be prepared to assist other divisions and respond to client requests promptly.

What We''re Looking For:

• Physically fit and able to lift rubbish into refuse vehicles.
• Comfortable pushing a cart around the city center.
• Available for work Monday to Friday.
• Must hold a full UK driving license.
