Your work will directly support a cleaner environment and contribute to the pride that people feel in where they live.What you''ll do as a Street Cleansing OperativeCarry out street cleansing tasks including litter picking, sweeping, bin emptying, fly-tipping removal, and public toilet cleaningRemoving of graffiti, fly poster removal, trimming or removing weed growth and cleaning public toilets or car parks, as necessary.Pushing the street cleaner barrow and use of the mechanical sweeper.Operate and maintain, tools, and cleaning equipment safelySupport street cleaning and environmental maintenance services.Work collaboratively with drivers and other operatives and undertake additional duties as required within the Streets Service team.Essential RequirementsAbility to undertake physically demanding outdoor workAble to walk 8-10 miles per shift dailyFlexible and positive attitude towards a variety of tasks.Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work effectively as part of a team when neededGood communication and teamwork skillsAble to carry out heavy lifting duties and carry out manual work outdoors in all weather conditionsYour typical ..... full job details .....
