What you''ll do as a Street Cleansing Operative Carry out street cleansing tasks including litter picking, sweeping, bin emptying, fly-tipping removal, and public toilet cleaning Removing of graffiti, fly poster removal, trimming or removing weed growth and cleaning public toilets or car parks, as necessary. Pushing the street cleaner barrow and use of the mechanical sweeper. Operate and maintain, tools, and cleaning equipment safely Support street cleaning and environmental maintenance services. Work collaboratively with drivers and other operatives and undertake additional duties as required within the Streets Service team. Essential Requirements Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work Able to walk 8-10 miles per shift daily Flexible and positive attitude towards a variety of tasks. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work effectively as part of a team when needed Good communication and teamwork skills Able to carry out heavy lifting duties and carry out manual work outdoors in all weather ..... full job details .....
