Street Cleansing Driver

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Street Cleansing Driver to join the Environmental Management team at a Local Authority operating in the Heywood area. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on an initial three-month assignment. Main Duties Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles as part of the street cleansing service Driving assigned routes to collect litter, debris, and fly-tipped waste Supporting the team with manual street cleansing tasks when needed Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly Working in line with health and safety procedures at all times Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations Essential Criteria A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence A current Driver CPC card Ability and willingness to carry out both driving and physical street cleansing duties Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, though training will be provided If your skills match the above criteria, please apply with your up-to-date CV. ..... full job details .....
