What To Expect
As Raylo scales, we’re building a high-performing Credit and Fraud Strategy team. The Strategy Manager role focuses on optimising approval rates across consumer and business products, with a direct commercial impact. This role offers the opportunity to shape and optimise a newly implemented decisioning platform during a high-growth phase.You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources, enhance decisioning logic, and develop scalable solutions that balance complexity, speed, and risk. Your work will help design sustainable growth strategies, deliver on business goals, and influence decisions at the highest levels of the company.As we grow, so will you. The role offers ownership and potential progression into senior strategic roles, helping to define how Raylo uses data-driven decisions to lead the market.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic projects to optimise approval rates, using our new decisioning platform.Design scalable data frameworks and tracking systems to support smarter decisions.Use SQL and analytics to investigate drivers of performance and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with Product and Engineering on the technical design and implementation of new decisioning logic and data integrations.Partner with Operations to understand day-to-day impact, close feedback loops, and ensure system robustness.Align with Growth and Marketing on acquisition strategies and performance optimization.Liaise with Risk stakeholders to maintain strong controls and ensure sound, explainable decisions.Drive innovation in automation, monitoring, and performance tuning of decisioning systems.Balance flexibility and scalability while maintaining high data quality across multiple sources.
You’ll Succeed With
3–5+ years in strategy, analytics, or product/data roles within high-growth, data-driven environments.Professional experience with SQL is essential; Python is a plus.Strong track record of using data to solve complex problems and drive commercial outcomes.Background in industries with large data throughput (e.g., fintech, consumer tech, lending, e-commerce).Experience with modern analytics stacks (data warehouses, dashboards, monitoring systems).Excellent communicator, able to translate insights into commercial decisions and trade-offs.Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.Strategic thinker with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
