Strategic Supply Chain Lead Location: Warton, LancashireWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days on site per weekPay Rate: £30.54 per hour PAYE or £41.06 via umbrella (inside IR35)Contract: Temporary / ContractEmployer: BAE Systems We are currently recruiting for an experienced Strategic Supply Chain Lead to join BAE Systems at their Warton site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a complex and highly regulated supply chain environment, supporting strategic supplier relationships, performance improvement and delivery across critical programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and key suppliers to ensure supply chain objectives are achieved while identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality, delivery and overall supplier performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and support strategic supply chain activities across key programmes and projects.Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.Monitor and manage supplier performance against cost, quality, delivery and risk objectives.Identify supply chain risks and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.Lead supplier performance reviews and improvement initiatives.Analyse supply chain data and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.Support commercial and procurement activities, including cost reduction and value-generation opportunities.Work collaboratively with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, ..... full job details .....
