Strategic Sourcing Manager

Talentmark are recruiting for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12-months. Salary: 263.88 to 301.57 per day PAYE or 350 to 400 per day Umbrella/Ltd. Daily duties of a Strategic Sourcing Manager:You''ll lead sourcing and category activity across the clinical laboratories space, covering areas such as genomics, bioanalytics, flow cytometry and central labs.Build and execute sourcing strategies, drawing on your category know-how and negotiation skills.Manage supplier relationships and contracts, driving value and reducing risk across the supply base.Work closely with internal procurement teams and business stakeholders, turning what the business needs into practical sourcing plans.Day-to-day, you''ll support core procurement operations while contributing to wider projects that improve the buying experience for everyone involved.Your Background:A university degree, ideally in business or a science-related subject such as life sciences, chemistry or biochemistry.At least 5 years of procurement experience in strategic sourcing and project delivery, with a solid grasp of contracting.Experience with procurement systems and processes.A in ideally within pharmaceutical or RandD categories, with an understanding of related regulations.Strong project management skills and fluent business-level English.Company:Our client is one of the world''s premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies, discovering, developing and ..... full job details .....
