Who are we looking for?We are seeking an experienced
Strategic Sales Manager
to support and maximize the efficiency of our sales team in winning complex sales and servicing complex clients. This role is key in providing executive assistance to the Complex Sales team, focusing on large account planning, sales enablement, and pipeline management. The successful candidate can be based in London or Luxembourg.Minimum requirements:Proven expertise in Large Account Management Planning.Experience in complex sales support, sales operations, or account management within asset servicing, fund administration, securities services, or financial services.Understanding of institutional clients, investment operations, and regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, UCITS, CASS, Basel, MiFID, etc.).Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including pipeline management, reporting, dashboards, data integrity, and workflow automation.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and sales reporting tools.Strong project management skills.Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Roles and Responsibilities
Large Account Planning and Sales Strategy SupportAssist in developing and managing large account plans for institutional clients.Research client structures, investment strategies, and decision-making processes.Map key stakeholders and develop engagement strategies.Support the creation of tailored client presentations and sales proposals.Sales Enablement and Marketing SupportCollaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral and coordinate events.Organize client events, webinars, and conferences.Sales Process and Pipeline ManagementTrack and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.Maintain records of client interactions and contracts.Monitor deal progression and milestones.Sales Analytics and ReportingPrepare performance reports and forecasts.Analyze market trends and competitor activities.Client and Internal CoordinationCoordinate between sales, clients, and operational teams.Schedule meetings and support client communications.Required CompetenciesTeam player with a positive attitude.Self-motivated and results-driven.Excellent communication and relationship skills.Strong analytical skills.About Carne GroupCarne Group manages $2tn in assets with over 600 staff, serving more than 650 clients globally.
