Procurement Specialist - Strategic Procurement (Engineering / Technical Environment)An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Specialist to take on a strategically focused role within a fast-paced, engineering-led environment. This position will suit a commercially astute procurement professional who can balance long-term value creation with hands-on operational support when required.The role is primarily strategic in nature, with a strong emphasis on driving cost efficiencies, and delivering end-to-end procurement projects. However, flexibility is key - the successful candidate will also be expected to support wider site requirements, including sourcing quotations and raising purchase orders during peak demand or business-critical periods.Key Responsibilities:Deliver cost-saving initiatives and value engineering projectsManage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performanceTake ownership of projects from initial concept through to delivery and implementationSupport contract negotiations, develop framework agreements, and commercial termsProvide cross-site support when needed, including providing budgetary quotes, formulating a tender process and preparing purchase ordersAbout You:Proven experience in a procurement role within an engineering or technical environmentStrong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering cost savingsExperience managing projects end-to-end, with a proactive and self-starting approachConfident in negotiating contracts ..... full job details .....
