Strategic Procurement Lead

Your new company A major London local authority is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Lead to join its Housing Assets team on a fixed-term basis. With a strong focus on transforming housing services and delivering long-term value, the organisation is embarking on one of its largest-ever procurement programmes, aimed at improving the quality, safety and sustainability of its housing stock.This is a pivotal opportunity to play a leading role in shaping and delivering a landmark capital procurement programme within a complex and high-profile public sector environment.Your new role As Procurement lead, you will take ownership of the council''s largest procurement programme within the Housing Revenue Account, valued at approximately 500m, alongside negotiating a significant 25m contract extension.
