The Team
The U.K. and Ireland are our domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in the UKandI partner closely with global functions such as product, technology and consumer to deliver results for our FMCG partners. We are looking for a FMCG Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our UKI FMCG team. In this role you will be responsible for leading and account managing a portfolio of high value FMCG partners that are critical to the success of the newly launched Strategic Partnership programme at Deliveroo.What you’ll be doing
Plan and agree strategic joint business plans with FMCG partners that create long term, mutual growth in alignment with category consideration and local market strategies.Maintaining and growing relationships with the selection of partners under your management. Providing support and consultancy to those partners with the joint objective to drive the sales performance of the FMCG’s portfolio live on Deliveroo across the relevant grocery and restaurant partners.Contribute to the development of Deliveroo’s Strategic Value Proposition for FMCG partners and how this benefits our restaurant/retail partners and customers. Work with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, commercial, policy/legal, SMG, plus) to operationalise the SVP.Driving FMCG partner performance by understanding growth through proactive reporting, weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings and reviews, analysis, improvement projects, and identifying growth opportunities. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to drive change and devise solutions to ensure issues are addressed and your FMCG partners continue to grow.Demonstrate commercial skills whilst supporting on FMCG partner investment requirement negotiations. Once onboarded, support with accurate advertising budget tracking and maintenance.A passion for analysing FMCG data to piece together an informative story to support partners growth across the platform. Understanding grocery and restaurant data is critical to the success of this role, to advise partners and add value.Requirements
3-4 years’ experience in an account management or commercial role. Experience in, or working with, online or offline grocery retail is preferable.Partner obsessed, with effective relationship building, organisation and communication skills whether face to face, or through video, phone or email.Confident working with and analysing data - able to understand what performance improvements will help grow your FMCG partners, in order to make clear and actionable recommendations.Able to create ideas and strategies to drive growth of our joint business with our FMCG partners, proactively problem-solve at pace, create and improve processes.Collaborative team player who is able to get the best out of the people around you. Able to work cross functionally and effectively with all levels of Deliveroo.Experience in working in a dynamic high-growth company is preferable.Why Deliveroo?
