About The Music Works The Music Works is a Gloucestershire charity that transforms young lives through music. We''re specialists in working with young people (age 8-30) in challenging circumstances to help them reach their full potential in music, in learning and in life. We work with over 3,000 young people a year in schools and our four community studios in Gloucester, and the Forest of Dean. Our approach is youth-led, with young people involved at every stage of planning and delivery. About the Role This is a significant and genuinely distinctive opportunity. We are creating this fixed-term Strategic Operations Director role to help us become a more efficient, data-informed and strategically agile organisation. The role requires focused, dedicated leadership. It will suit someone who is energised by complexity, motivated by the prospect of building something that outlasts their tenure, and who finds genuine satisfaction in creating order, clarity and capability from the ground up.
