Strategic Lead - Asset Management

37 hours per weekWe are looking for an experienced chartered surveyor to provide strategic leadership and management of the Council''s internal Asset Management Team and external multi-disciplinary consultants in the delivery of the Council''s property related programmes.As the lead for the Council''s property assets you will help us maximise the benefits we drive from our estate, where you will oversee a diverse range of assets, ensuring service occupiers thrive and our commercial assets deliver forecasted returns.This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Asset Management Team driving innovation and creativity in the team. We are currently working on an extensive range of exciting project across all property sectors and manage a portfolio of over 900 assets with a combined value of over £700M. In this role you will have the ability to shape our estate and the strategy that underpins our strategic asset management plan. You will report directly to the Group Manager and provide strategic advice to services all across the Council helping to identify the best property solutions and continuously challenge the status quo of the operational estate to maximise our use.
