This role will assist and support the strategic procurement team in the identification and management of suppliers that meet the organization''s standards of price, quality, reliability, and customer service. This is a full time and permanent role with a 37.5 hour working week. Hours are flexible and can accommodate a start time between 07.30-09.00 depending on preference. Early Friday finishes on offer from 1.30pm. The Role of Strategic Buyer: Proactively manage a selected set of allocated suppliers Manage own supply base. Use data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Identify, implement and manage NDA and LTA for selected portfolio of suppliers. Develop key working relationships with suppliers via regular review meetings on performance, using Supplier Scorecard to align to Metrics, and renegotiate for improvements.
