Job Title: Stores Person Department: CommercialSub Department: PurchasingReports to: Finance ManagerLocation: Head Office Job Purpose: You will oversee and carry out the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all materials within our busy stores division. This role is suited to someone with experience running or managing a stores operation, who demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate stock control and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the goods-in and goods-out process. Key Accountabilities:Manage the receipt, inspection, booking-in, and accurate recording (in Simpro) of all incoming goodsOrganise and store materials correctly, ensuring clear labelling and appropriate stock rotationMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organised stores environmentPick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing goods for timely and accurate dispatchEnsure the returns process is followed promptly and correctlyComplete regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock controlLiaise with procurement as requiredSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock control, storage layout, and overall process efficiencyProfessional Qualifications / Skills / Work Experience:Proven experience managing stores or warehouse operations, covering both goods-in and goods-out processesStrong knowledge of inventory control and materials managementExcellent organisational and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data recordingAbility to work ..... full job details .....
