Location: Guildford Contract: 6 Months Hours: Full-Time We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Storesperson to join a busy Council depot on a 6-month contract. This role will support the efficient management of stock, materials, tools, and equipment used by operational and maintenance teams. Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving, checking, and booking in deliveries.Picking, issuing, and distributing materials and equipment.Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.Loading and unloading vehicles safely.Operating a forklift truck to move and store goods.Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining a tidy stores environment.Delivering materials to various council sites as required.Adhering to all health and safety procedures.RequirementsPrevious experience within a stores, warehouse, or depot environment.Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.Full UK Driving Licence.Good organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience using stock control systems is desirable.What''s on Offer6-month council contract.Full-time hours.Immediate start available.Opportunity to work within a supportive local authority team. ..... full job details .....
