Storesperson / Materials Handling Support Technician

Expleo are recruiting for an experienced Storesperson to join our team on a contract basis, supporting our client, a major Automotive manufacturer based in Bedfordshire,This position will be working within a major Automotive Research and Development facility, where the successful candidate will be required to ensure the timely receipt and booking in of vehicle parts, whilst ensuring that stock is controlled using relevant database systems.Responsibilities of the Storesperson include: Receipt of Goods In / Out, to include unloading of vehicle test parts in a timely manner Liaising with relevant departments to advise of parts arrival Picking test parts as requested by team members Support the Team Leader to meet Stores targets to ensure the performance of the department Support section management to maintain Health and Safety Work with the team to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and capture knowledgeBackground and Experience required for the Storesperson role: Experience in Stores / Goods Inwards and Outwards Forklift licence - minimum of 4 tonnes Practical application experience Skilled using computer packages Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload A team player with a ''can do'' attitude Current Full UK Driving Licence Experience within Automotive or Engineering or Vehicle build/prototype environment is desirable but not essential PLEASE NOTE To meet with current legislation, right to work ..... full job details .....
