Storeperson / Warehouse Operative (Goods In and Dispatch)We''re recruiting a reliable, organised Storeperson to join a busy engineering/manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role focusing on accurate goods in, stock control, picking/packing and dispatch. If you''ve done similar work in a warehouse, logistics, distribution or retail warehouse environment, we''d like to hear from you.Key responsibilitiesReceive, check and book in deliveries; match against paperwork and report any discrepanciesUse a computer system for goods in, stock movements and accurate record keepingPick and pack items to pick lists, ensuring correct quantities, labelling and packagingPrepare orders for dispatch, complete basic shipping documentation and liaise with couriersSupport cycle counts/stock checks and help keep storage areas tidy, compliant and well organisedWork closely with production/purchasing to help maintain parts availability and traceabilityKey skills and experiencePrevious experience in a warehouse or stores environment is beneficial (goods in, picking/packing, dispatch and/or stock control)Comfortable using computers for data entry and basic system updatesStrong attention to detail and a "right first time" approachAble to be on your feet and handle items throughout the shift (manual handling involved)Team-focused with clear communication skills This is a permanent job.
