Stores Team Leader (Temp to Perm) Location: On-site Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday (38 hours) Salary: £30,000 (depending on experience)About the RoleSelect Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company for a Stores Team Leader to join the Operations team on a temp-to-perm basis.This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for ensuring the Stores function runs efficiently, safely, and in line with production requirements. You will lead a team of stores operatives, supporting day-to-day activity while ensuring high standards of accuracy, stock control, and system compliance.Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and supervise the Stores team to achieve daily operational targetsEnsure accurate and timely picking, goods receipt, and distribution of materials to productionMaintain high levels of stock accuracy through cycle counting and disciplined inventory controlOversee ERP transactions and ensure full compliance with scanning and traceability processesAct as first point of contact for operational queries and prioritisation of workMaintain housekeeping, audit readiness, and operational standards within the Stores areaPromote and enforce safe working practices in line with EHS requirementsSupport continuous improvement activity across Stores operationsEnsure effective use of automated storage systems (VLM) Key RequirementsEssential: Experience in a warehouse, stores, or materials handling environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment ..... full job details .....
