Stores Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive Stores Supervisor to join a busy production and manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong warehouse or stores experience who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and ensuring operations run efficiently day-to-day. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing stock control, coordinating goods in and out, supporting production requirements, and maintaining a highly organised and productive stores function. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day running of the stores departmentPlan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goodsEnsure stock control systems remain accurate and up to dateManage production kit picking and support production schedulesOrganise sub-assemblies and optimise stock levels to support manufacturingLead, motivate and support the stores team to achieve productivity targetsCoordinate training, development and performance management within the teamRespond efficiently to internal purchasing and sales queriesEnsure warehouse space and handling equipment are used effectivelyContribute to shortage reporting processes and help resolve stock issuesMaintain high standards of health and safety, organisation and security of stockSupport continuous improvement across stores and warehouse operationsCarry out additional duties in line with the needs of the businessThe successful candidate will have previous experience ..... full job details .....
