This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stores professional to join a busy manufacturing environment and take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and organisation of the stores function.Main Purpose of the RoleTo oversee the day-to-day operation of the stores function, ensuring stock is accurately recorded, materials are available when required and goods are received, stored and distributed efficiently.The successful candidate will need to be confident, organised and hands-on, with the ability to take ownership of the stores function and be authoritative when required. The role will involve working closely with production, purchasing and management to ensure materials and stock are available to support operational requirements.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day running and organisation of the stores function.Maintain accurate inventory and stock records within company systems.Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements.Ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules.Coordinate the receipt, storage and movement of goods.Process goods received documentation and update stock systems.Carry out regular stock checks and investigate discrepancies.Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, ..... full job details .....
