Due to further growth within the business, they are looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to lead the daily stores operation. Role and Responsibilities of the Stores Supervisor: Ensure efficient receipt, storage, control of goods in to support manufacturingDistribution of materials, engineering components, consumables and toolingSupport despatch with packing and distribution of goods to customersSupervisor and coordinate a small team of stores assistantsStock counts, audits, investigation of errors, checking purchase orders against goodsUse of ERP/MRP systems to check stock movementsMake sure production kits and materials are prepared and issued timely to manufacturing Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to be the Stores Supervisor: Experience within an engineering or manufacturing industryPreviously have worked stores, warehouse, logistics, inventory control type environmentIdeally have supervisor / team leader experienceUsed ERP/MRP systems before, with good IT skillsGood understanding of stock control processes and material traceabilityStrong organisational and communication skillsAble to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure If you do not get a response back on your application within 24-48 hours please presume you are unsuccessful.If you are interested in this ..... full job details .....
