This Stores Person role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording the traceability of all raw materials, fluids, equipment, spares, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), consumables, and client-supplied products on the site. The ideal Stores Person applicant should have experience working in a busy Parts Department

Stores Person responsibilities

• Salary -35,000
• Provide prompt and courteous counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items
• Issue materials to the Technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly
• Purchase all critical parts from suppliers as and when required -
• Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery to outstations
• Ensure parts are correctly added into SAP
• Generate daily report showing the due dates of all critical parts orders-
• Check and receive deliveries to site using IT system
• Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory as directed
• Ensure stock items have correct identification labels attached
• Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items
