Stores Person 12.80 per hour, Burgess Hill, Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am to 11:30am, Permanent, 28 days holiday plus paid Christmas shutdown, BUPA healthcare after probation The RoleA fantastic opportunity has become available for a Stores Person to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the centre of Burgess Hill. Working within the stores team, the Stores Person will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, control and organisation of stock, supporting production operations and maintaining accurate inventory records.Receiving and booking in goods inwardsLocating and organising stock within the stores areaKitting materials against production requirementsProcessing and posting material requisitionsIssuing shortages to production teamsManaging requisition requestsCarrying out perpetual stock checks and inventory controlPacking completed assemblies, kits and panels for despatchMaintaining accurate stores records using computer systemsEnsuring excellent housekeeping standards throughout the stores department RequirementsThe successful Stores Person will be computer literate with strong numeracy and literacy skills. A good command of the English language is highly desirable, along with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business.
