Role: Stores Person / Stores Controller / Stock Controller Salary: 27,000 to 29,000 per annum, depending on experience + Bonus + Benefits (25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, life assurance, pension) Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am till 3:15pm (6am till 1pm on Friday) Location: Commutable from Aldershot, Farnborough, Guildford, Basingstoke, Camberley and surrounding areas Responsibilities We are looking for someone with stores/stock control experience in a factory environment. You will be responsible for the smooth flow of materials in and out of the unit. Take accountability of the workshop and be the go-to person Receiving and booking in of raw material, inspecting it for damages before accepting it and processing delivery notes. Responsible for raising job cards for shop floor and cross-referencing material certificates for compliance in conjunction with Inspection. Ensuring accuracy in all operations relating to materials handling (including servicing shop floor material demands, booking in/out activities). Responsible for material preparations (billet/bar form). Servicing shop floor material demands. Responsible for dealing with general email queries. Ensure the skips are emptied Conduct hardness testing for material conformity from received goods. Responsible for early-stage Sub Con organisation (raw material).
