This varied, hands-on position combines goods in, stock control, warehouse administration and forklift work. Working within a small team, you''ll help keep deliveries moving, stock records accurate and the stores organised. A valid counterbalance forklift licence and previous operating experience are essential. The role Receiving and unloading deliveries using a counterbalance forklift. Checking incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes. Booking stock onto the system, recording quantities, part numbers and storage locations. Identifying and reporting shortages, damaged goods and delivery discrepancies. Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, issues and returns. Picking and packing orders and preparing dispatch paperwork. Completing stocktakes and investigating stock differences. Keeping storage areas clearly labelled, organised and safe.
