The Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business based in Hinckley, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke products for the retail, museum, leisure, and commercial sectors. Recognised as a market leader in joinery products, they have built a strong reputation for quality, precision, and reliability.

The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Stores Person to join their busy Goods In, Stores, and Despatch team. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse operations, ensuring stock is received, stored, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of organisation and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Booking stock into the warehouse management system and storing materials in the correct locations.
• Packing, wrapping, and preparing products for dispatch.
• Supporting stock control, inventory accuracy, and general stores duties.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move materials safely around the site.
• Assisting with container unloading and general warehouse operations.
• Supporting both Goods In and Despatch activities as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

The Candidate

• Previous experience in a Stores, Goods In, Warehouse, or Manufacturing environment.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and previous FLT operating experience (beneficial)
• Computer literate with experience booking stock into warehouse systems.
• Good understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
